The staff/o... read more My wife and I were in Lisbon, Portugal and were looking for a place to eat dinner. We just happened to come across this restaurant and It was great! The staff/owners very very friendly. They spoke English well. It is not fancy but it is authentic Portuguese. They had a good selection of fresh fish. My wife had Sea Bass and I had grilled Sardines They were both excellent. The salad and vegetables were served Family style on a large plate. The bread was homemade and fresh and the dressers were excellent too. They have a very large selection of wine which you could sample before buying. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Lisbon and are looking for a good local meal. You will not be disappointed.

Menu is comprehensive, with dozens of options for meat and seafood, including even rabbit! Take your time to decide and don't mind the translation, for Mr Serafim can always pop out of the kitchen and gladly explain it to you. The wine list is comparable to the best houses in Lisbon! Each dish is prepared individually, so waiting time is of at least 20min; they could serve the salad before for those who didn't order a starter, but don't fill your stomach with bread. Portions are more than generous and the taste is amazing, especially for the very low price. Not only does the restaurant deserve a visit but Mr Serafim should get another prize soon!
