The monkfish okay but the stew/gravy had such a great flavor. The also recommended a red wine from Douro which we loved. High recommend.

Of the places I have dined across Portugal, this stands as one of the most incredible restaurants through outstanding food, uniquely designed space, richly authentic atmosphere and friendly, polite host. 10/10 would recommend, if you’re a fan of seafood, certainly order the clam starter. The flavours burst through the plate, photos for not do this restaurant enough justice.

Il vero punto di forza del locale è senz’altro la cucina. In questo ristorante avrete la possibilità di gustare dell'ottimo pesce fresco e saporito e delle carni veramente eccezionali. La spesa è contenuta ed il rapporto qualità prezzo è veramente buono! Consigliato a chiunque si fermi a Lisbona! I was really impressed with the O Fumeiro restaurant. Small and welcoming atmosphere with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The real strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine. In this restaurant you will have the opportunity to taste excellent fresh and tasty fish and truly exceptional meats. The cost is low and the value for money is really good! Recommended to anyone stopping in Lisbon!
