This was especially disappointing given that we had booked about a month in advance, and received this cancelation only the day before.

I had booked specifically for F... read more We had a lovely meal at Fado No Convento and the place itself is beautiful, but we were really disappointed with our experience. I had booked specifically for Fado because my mom was visiting, and I wanted her to experience it. We had been looking forward to this all week, only to arrive and find out that the performance was canceled—without any prior notice. The restaurant told us they had called everyone to inform them, but I never received a call, despite having provided my contact information. While they did offer a small compensation, it didn’t make up for the disappointment. Had we known, we likely would have chosen another place. I really hope they improve their communication in the future so this doesn’t happen to other guests. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50+
