Consequently, this is my favourite place in Lisboa. I've never had better grilled octopus which is usually my choice here. Restaurant is big and you don't need to make reservation at all. Skip the appetizer, once they serve free portuguese cheese, olives and great fish croquettes. Salad with octopus as well as freshly grilled one with punched potatoes, onion and lots of garlic is simply outstanding. Goes well with home white wine they serve (vinho verde). I tried also bacalhau minhota, which is fried codfish with sliced potatoes similar to chips. Lots of calories, but lots of great taste indeed. From short dessert list, I liked fresh sliced pineapple served with porto on top.
Poorest I have had in Portugal ever. The beef vas boiled, and floating in water. When the waiter wasn't carrying food he cept his fingers in his nose. The olives was off. The bread was not quite frayed. My only advice is to eat somewhere else.
After not getting many restaurants, we ended up here. It looks quite touristic but price quality ratio is good. We ate mainly fish with a bottle of decent wine. They brought bread, cheese and olives but be careful, they are not free. Staff was kind.
Nice place, good food and friendly personal. Not expensive unfortunately no outside tables.
