The owner and staff are incredibly nice and always ready to welcome visitors!The food is very tasty, from grilled fish to meat dishes, like the basic bitoque or Alheira de Mirandela. The place is tiny, makes you feel like you're eating in a family's dinning-room.

They welcomed us each night. I could not recommend this restaurant with any higher regard. You must go.

If you're seeking a genuine and fun dining experience, then Cerqueira is the spot. But keep it hush-hush ; All starters, main courses, and desserts are incredible. Truly. I'm already counting down to my next trip to Lisbon so I can enjoy the Cod again — so delicious. Booking in advance or arrive early, around 7pm, to walk in without a reservation. Really.
