Restaurante Tronco does not entice with persuasive waiters, such as can be found further down this street when it becomes Rua Das Portas Do Santo Antao. Nor might you choose it for a romantic dinner. But for kindly staff, generous portions and prices to meet...the expectations of local residents, it hits the spot. Close to Residencial Portuense hotel, also recommended. Garry
Very nice little restaurant with local atmosphere. Good homemade food ,you gotta wait a little , its not going out of microwave after 3 mins. Grilled sardines are mine numer one here. Prices are very reasonable as well ,20euro for 2 dishes with whole bottle...of wine , and portions are quite big.
