We thought we were smart by avoiding the most obvious tourist traps and going for this inconceivable place that offers seafood and meat dishes for a small price. I ordered the traditional Portuguese bark stew and it was by far the worst I ever had in a restaurant. disgusting pieces of dry meat and fat on a thick layer of cauliflower and rice swim in water. my friend had a pork dish that was acceptable but not delicious. the interieur is nothing to write home, nor has the service in any way for the bad eating. a very unpleasant experience.
We have them in standard. it is a very well-known restaurant only on the street. we did not go there because the line was to the road. So we just started going back to our hotel window and shopping the restaurant. we said there were some people sitting inside and. they sell seafood so why not. we were happy that we did. the most friendly staff who was eating was price. perfect eating was fresh and cooking to perfection. bad, that was our last night in lisbon otherwise we would regularly.
On the advice of other reviews I took my wife into this restaurant as she was looking for a typical experience the owner / the guard grunted us, cried his wife in the kitchen, went away twice during our order and delivered some of the. most disgusting eating I've ever tried to eat. cold brot, hard butter, fishy stinky garnels, Portuguese stew, consisting of boiled cauliflower, caramels and dirty, gray bark meat. the crooked were piled up in the service window into the kitchen and the stack just grew and grew (the amount of half eaten eaten the whole restaurant stinks after fat and we had it in our clothes the rest of the night broken tw hanging on the wall, no music, windows or decorations of any kind except a century old were of cheap plastic flowers innovation on the bar we had gone to I was right again. When do I ever listen to her?
We were wandering down the street looking for a place for dinner...we passed the door way to restaurant Tronco and stopped to have a look in as it looked nothing like all the other restaurants in that area. It was nearly full and looked like...a simple, unpretentious, locals kind of place so thought we'd venture in. We both ordered the steak with the egg (came with rice, chips and salad) and the guy there recommended a nice bottle of red. The food was really tasty and unbelievable considering the tiny kitchen and the one lady cooking for everyone!! If you want a simple honest meal in a simple honest place then this is it. Bread, (big) main meal for 2 and a bottle of red €29!
We have all the people who wanted to entice us to their restaurants overlooked the critikens that the people had written in the window of this restaurant that did not look good from outside. the reviews were good and we decided to go in. the type that gave us. a gentleman and was very accommodating, is and from 2 living little ones. the food served very generous portions and traditional homemade. the sardines and the sucking pigeon were great. we had 3 main dishes, 1 starter, drinks for the children, bread and a bottle of wine. for under 40 € is worth the incredible. we would recommend everyone to eat here.
