We were seated upstairs and a... read more The six of us came into Il Basilico on our last night in Lisbon pretty much because it was right around the corner from our hotel. We were seated upstairs and at a great table and promptly greeted by our awesome server. we were served bread and olives before we ordered (the olives in Portugal are wonderful). We all ordered a wide range of food from salad to pizza to pasta. I had the specialty. The Osso Bucco with fried polenta. It was fantastic. Especially paired with a dry Portuguese red wine. Highly recommended!!

We were attending by Catia, the matre d’, herself. Very busy but with exceptional staff. The strawberry gelato deserves a mention as well.
