Th... read more This simple rustic tavern offers well-prepared food and good service. Situated in the heart of Bairro Alto, you can see a lot of locals dining in this place. The bacalhau was cooked well and the arroz marisco was rich and flavorful. The calamares though wasn’t that savory to our liking, but the mint sauce was a breath of fresh air to the palate. This place is a tad bit costly, and the set-up was a bit congested and crowded- we could eavesdrop the conversation on the next table.

Menu had an array of different options to suit all tastes. The seafood with rice was delicious, with a plentiful and wide variety of seafood. A portion for two could easily serve 3 or 4 people.
