I ordered a carbonara and the food was quite bad. Not even average. I also ordered garlic bread, which they forgot and I had to remind them. When we were about to pay, the waiter took 2x the price for the garlic bread. I told him and he didn't really care. Then he told me that he would take 1€ out (still paid 20 cents more, but the thing is that he charged me twice for 2 pieces of mini bread when I only ordered one). In the end I paid and I really thing that the quality of the food is not worth the price. Furthermore, my friend that I went with, he ordered the steak. When it arrived, it really looked disgusting. After he tasted it, it was indeed very bad. The waiter was nice offering him to order another dish from the menu. The other dish was also terrible... And he charged him the price of the first dish (which was more expensive). I never give reviews but this was honestly one of the worst dishes/restaurants we have ever been to (maybe even the worst)... It was our last day in Lisbon... What a way to end a trip.

I'LL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. I ordered a steak with mustard sauce: it was the most disgusting, hard and ugly-looking steak I've had in my entire life. At least the waiter served me another dish, a Portuguese steak. The Portuguese steak was soaked in a white liquid, it was hard (AGAIN and insipid and the egg WAS UNDERCOOKED (how is that even possible ‍ . After just eating the fries (smth at least they made me pay the mustard steak (14€!!!! instead of the 10€ the Portuguese steak costed. Got the last problem solved with the owners son, but after talking to him, I don't think they'll change things... One of the worst (if not number 1 restaurants I've been to.

We came across this place after visiting the oceanarium. We weren’t drawn in by the menu but the waiter, Miguel, was amazing. He was so pleasant and chatty that we felt like we had to dine. As most places he did bring over some bread but he took the time to explain the cost and said he would take it away if we didn’t want it. Glad we kept it as it was delicious. Our mains weren’t perfect however. They took about half an hour to come (we were the only people there) and were a bit cold. However the price and portions were great.

Yes we also had the bread encounter : more uncomfortable for the waiter than us, as he is probably pushed to push the famous Garlic bread : However he explained us ,it is contra cost etc... doing his job, we ate here everyday for lunch as is close to our work and the service is fast. Also the prices are very acceptable compared to other restaurants near by, plus it has afantastic location. We loved the curries and the scallopina. The Portuguese steak always a good option also the spaghetti are good. The portions are very big... you eat with 10. € like a king. It wouldn’t have left me a bad taste even if I’d pay those 2 euro on bread if not less... I recommend and I do come back every year ! Will update photos next time we liked it to much to even talk during it never the less waste time on photos!

Nice position to watch the world go bar, as long as you are not in a hurry for your food you will be fine, only one staff member working when we visited and plenty of guests. The worker was being pulled from pillar to post, but did an excellent job. Food was fine without being great
