Traditional family restaurant, excellent cuisine with authentic Portuguese dishes. There are not many dishes available. But they are so delicious. We had a great lunch: dourada and robalo fishes with boiled potatoes and fresh vegetables. The owners are very nice and do their best. Highly recommended this little restaurant! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about O Chefe E O Mar:
The food was incredibly salty. Each of our 6 had different dishes and each of them were pucker-worthy salty. The owner/manager made no effort to explain anything on the menu. He also placed bread upon the table then proceeded to charge us for it when we had no desire for it in the first place. We attempted to explain to him we didn't want it, but he forced us to pay for dry, overcooked bland bread. Absolutely pitiful... View all feedback.

Seafood rice is so delicious and came with 5 big prawns and clams in the rice! For €10 was worth it. Small place and owner does not speak English. Menu in English in Window.

Best Portugal food restaurant I have ever had, providing very fresh and delicious sea food plate. Obviously the owner of the restaurant has a very good taste, and the most unexpected part is they has three fantastic musicians singing Fado in dinner time. Their music is beautiful and powerful. The atmosphere cannot be better and thank you for a beautiful night!

Quite friendly staff, we got a glass of champagne as welcome. Food is good quality and very well prepared. Nice upscale interior.

I went with my boyfriend during our short holiday in Lisbon. It was really busy. Please reserve beffoe you go. Good is amazing. We ordered sushi and at first they forgot to remove the cheese from the salmon roll (I'm allergic to lactus). The owner immediately did a new roll for me!!!! I will definitely come back again.
