Coffee was... read more During our trip to Lisbon we stayed at the Doubletree Fontana Park. Nortex is right next door and offers a great selection of pastries for breakfast. Coffee was amazing as was the fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff was super friendly and efficient. We ended up having breakfast at Nortex everyday of our vacation.

Portions were correct, extremely... read more Just stumbled on this place after walking out of the Doubletree Hotel. Simply the best tasting, authentic food I ate in Lisbon. Portions were correct, extremely tasty, and more than fairly priced. I read and speak Portuguese and thought I was mistaken when I saw Beef Tongue on the menu. I asked and was correct. I ate it for the first time in 50 years (my grandmother made it when I was a child) and enjoyed every bit. I say this honestly, I will go back to this restaurant again, and plan to contact them to get their recipe.

The food is tradition... read more This restaurant is run by son-mother team, and some other collaborators and they are all friendly and expedient in answering your request. The food is traditional Portuguese meals, the portion is well served and the price is good. Try the deserts, they're delicious. The only but is that they don't have ATM cash only, but there's an ATM machine in the Market in front of the restaurant.
