Tempura basket... read more Was really hoping for a better food experience based on other people's review but I honestly don't know who does the reviewing. Food was average. Tempura basket was quite gross. There is a thick oil coating in your mouth after eating them. And Gyozas well let's say they are definitely not made in house. We actually saw the guy take out a bag from the freezer from the Chinese shop. Sushi was quite bland but we did enjoy a fish sashimi dish. Very well balanced. Chose not to order dessert based on the rest of the food but the sesame crem brulee did look interesting. I would say maybe next time but I doubt there will be one. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

They also didn't bring wasabi with the sushis, and we asked for them, and they forgot it, we waived at them to attract their attention as we were seated outside, and they took literally 10 min.to come, then we asked for wasabi and they took again 10 min to bring it and only brought it when we finally waived at them AGAIN. REALLY BAD!!!! Food: 1 Service: 1

In my opinion the sushi quality has gone down slightly throughout my visits but maybe that’s just me, either way, I still think the quality of the food is really good and at your regular “good quality” sushi price point. Where I think this restaurant shines is the atmosphere and some of the creative food choices such as the Russian roulette sushi as well as the variety. While there are better sushi restaurants out there, because of what I said before this one is still a restaurant that I like visiting from time to time

The food is great, the ambiance is very nice (although the tables are a bit close to each other and it can get a bit crowded) and the staff is nice and helpful. I try to ask for different things everytime I visit because everything is great, this time we had the Okonomiyaki, Bao de salmão teriyaki, sushi and the black sesame “crème brûlée” for dessert.
