Was RebeccaL at Konceito a mag?
We stumbled across this Indian restaurant because we were staying at the nearby Corinthia hotel and we were so glad we did. Great service, amazing value for money and the best curry ever. Naan was also great, freshly made, fluffy. I'd return to Lisbon just to eat here. View all feedback.

What Line L dislikes about Konceito:
We went there in a weekend, but found the place closed. When we arrived on the monday it was'nt open, so we had to knock on the door and was told to come back in half an hour. The Naan bread was good, so was the Lassi, but the main dishes was a big dissapointment for us. It didn't taste that good. All food was very cheap, and the service was great. View all feedback.

An actual decent indian food restaurant in Portugal, Lisbon, the attendance is good and the food is great, but sometimes a little bit fumbler in the way its kind of a inconsistent qualty service, me but not bad at all I would recomend the chicken tikka masala, my favourite dish of this restaurant. Overall a good experience

This was where I first tried Indian food a couple of years ago. It was the beginning of my exploration of cuisines that were not just Chinese, Portuguese, Italian or sushi. Although I wasn't very appreciative of spicy food at the beginning and could barely handle ground pepper, I have really come to appreciate the tears and the burning and the sensation of my blood rushing through my temples. That is why I came back after trying many different kinds of spices and ordered one of their spiciest dishes. As a precaution, I also ordered their prawn goa which is basically a creamy coconut sauce. We started off with some lassis, some cheese and garlic naan which never fails to impress, and their wonderful cheese samosa. I always thought samosas were plain and had nothing special to them, but Konceito made them with an unexpected finesse. The atmosphere hasn't changed at all, very quiet, very simple. And the waiters were respectful and kind. Surprisingly, the super spicy dish was not as spicy as I expected... Or so I thought. As I spoke and laughed at my initial worries, the burn, the pain and the sting began to creep up the back of my throat and soon consumed my whole face. It wasn't the kind of numbing spice from Mexican food or the sour spice from Sriracha, this was truly a throbbing, never before felt kind of spice. Yet through it all, the flavor made me go back for more regardless of the sweat that poured down my face, the lamb was so unbelievably tender and almost melted as it touched my scorched tongue. Unfortunately, the goa wasn't as good as I thought it would be, I am not such a fan of a strong dairy taste, but the creamy sauce coated my throat and it was overwhelmingly sweet. Almost to the point that I wasn't able to detect any depth to the flavour or the texture. To finish off, we had a pistachio kulfi which I must admit isn't as good as the mango one, but the nutty flavour and the peculiar texture was still delicious. This is my go to when I feel a pang for spicy Indian food.
