Very kind staff and the quality of the Coffe is beyond amazing. Completely different concept from what is available in the Algarve. Highly recommend
We followed the Tripadvisor recommendations to choose this retaurant and we had indeed a good dinner. The waiter/owner is indeed very chatty. It's up to you to like it or not, but at least he gives his best not to make you feel like any other random tourist.
We were on an errand around the corner and walked by this restaurant quite by accident. It looked interesting and so we decided to return when it opened in the evening. We were a bit surprised by all the references to Canada inside but then our server explained that the owner used to live in Canada. Our server was so wonderful and patient. He explained the different dishes and how each meal came with a starter, a main dish, and a desert. It was one of the most affordable meals we have had in Portugal and absolutely delicious as well as beautifully plated. I had a grilled fish and my husband had a pot of pork that was so tender it broke apart coming out of the pot. We truly enjoyed every bite of this exquisite meal and will gladly return.
Wow wow wow… what a wonderful restaurant, the Osso buco was as good as you will ever get it is excellent. The pork cheeks were like no other so tender and the flavors were unbelievable. The calamari was as tender as you will ever find and it was spiced to perfection. The owner waits on you and we allowed him to pick our food and wine it was the best way to go. Well worth your experience better than any dinning that we have had in Portugal and the rest of Europe. Thanks to Filipo !! Great service!!!
Staying in Lisbon just for 3 nights and disappointed with the hotel restaurant we were at a loss where to eat Saturday night. We came across a nearby restaurant called Kanuck Restaurant and it was a gem. The six of us oldies shared starters of seafood, bread, olives and olive oil and selected wines. Most tasty and enjoyed by all. With two vegetarians our mains were of course two most acceptable dishes while us four had delicious octopus which was cooked to perfect tenderness and taste with garlic and olive oil. The other two had sea bass and another dish I cannot remember but we all really enjoyed what we had. The owner was most helpful and pleasant with information on what we were ordering for both food and wine. Highly recommended and we were so disappointed it was shut the next evening -Sunday. Would certainly go back next time in Lisbon
