Honest food. Macrobiotic inspired. Simple and good
A Espiral is a holistic centre in the heart of Lisbon's CBD, near Largo D. Estefânia. The meals are buffet style, and allegedly macrobiotic. However, the food is often stale and the combinations are bland and lacking punch. The macrobiotic cuisine has evolved a lot in the last few decades, yet Espiral has stayed the same. The food is still good and excellent value for money, yet it hasn't evolved much.
