I lived aboard for the last few years and therefore I stopped going but I went back there this week and I was very happy to feel that the quality of service, food, and environment is still the same. I totally recommend it. Either for a romantic dinner or for a family gathering. Also for a friend's get together or a business meal, why not?! The menu offers plenty of options and all of the dishes have a lot of flavour in their innovative way of cooking. Give it a try!

We chose Descobre based on the menu, especially having a good selection of vegetarian options for some our group, and proximity to our hotel in the Belem area. We naively arrived without a reservation, but the staff at the restaurant found a table with a comfortable, but limited time frame, for our dinner rather than turning us away. I had the Descobre o Nossa Bacalhau a Bras a cod fish special that included straw potatoes and poached eggs, which sounded strange but was amazing, followed by a sour cherry crumble with ice cream for dessert. Two of our group of four were celebrating November birthdays and all of us were enjoying our final night in Lisbon and the dinner was truely magical.

They were able to cater for gluten intolerance which was a bonus. A big thank you to the kitchen staff who cooked our meals to perfection on both nights. We would highly recommend you visit and enjoy the food and drink. Thank you everyone for making our holiday a special one.

The... read more My husband and I had a lovely experience here last night. The food was delicious and had so much care and thought put into the preparation and presentation! The entire staff, from the waitresses to the sommelier, to the actual owner, Susanna, were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The restaurant looks new and clean and is very stylish and comfortable. There is a beautiful interior courtyard for outdoor dining, and Susanna’s adorable dog, Shanti, was just a delightful plus! Overall, we agreed that this restaurant was one of our favorite and most memorable meals in Lisbon. We can’t recommend it enough! We wish them continued success and hope to see them again soon!
