The Ch... read more This restaurant is a hidden gem! It isn't posh-decorated but serves the best African-inspired food in Lisbon! It has seating area outside the restaurant. The Chicken Zambeziana and Mozambican Fried Shrimp were divine! The sangria was also nicely-made. The owner was by himself but service was excellent despite it was quite busy! I would be happily recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We perused the menu but the owner made suggestions as to the best dishes on offer in his opinion. Well I took his advice and the dishes were superbly cooked seasoned and flavoured. We were a group of 8 people and ordered the zambeziana chicken, prawn curry, crab curry and matapa. Everything was delicious!! Chiveve is by far one of the best restaurants to eat Mozambican food in Lisbon and we will definitely come back again!!
