Fado was amazing, service was attentive and... read more As a tourist, it feels like you are invited into someone’s house to experience Portugese culture in an intimate way. Fado was amazing, service was attentive and friendly. Food was great, especially the veal stew. It is an entire evening of experience- sit down at 8-9pm, multiple Fado performances and courses over 3-4 hours with a fixed menu. If you want an evening to experience portugese culture, highly recommend this.

The fado was OK and also the price for the drinks. But we didn't like the arrogant behavior of the singer Maja Milinkovic. There are much better places in Alfama to listen to fado music.
