It is the glass door to the right, pull hard. From the outside, it is very difficult to find as you have to enter via the entrance to an apartment block. There is, however, a small sign with the restaurant's name and an arrow to the right. Follow the corridor, and this takes you to an open courtyard where there are tables for two restaurants and umbrellas for sun shades. We arrived after dark, and it was cool, but the proprieter put the gas heater on for us. There were 5 of us in our party, we tried the taster menu which came out every minute. We struggled to finish them and barely ordered any extras before consuming the sweets×2. I would recommend Biarrices for excellent service and the USP of offering unmlimted dishes for €25 per person. We will admit that we were beaten but didn't leave too much at the end. The woodpecker was very tasty.
Bairrices was a fun way to try different Portuguese dishes. Google maps took us to a building with no big signage. I did see a small sign with “Bairrices”, so I went inside and followed the path. To get to the restaurant, I had to go through a door that led outside. Then the restaurant was on the right. I opted to sit outside and the server explained the menu to us in English. Basically you get served all 22 dishes plus dessert (see photo with yellow paper) for 22€ per person. If you end up liking any of them, you can order them again as many as you want. Some dishes were cold, some were hot. The fried squid was my favorite. There weren’t any that I hated, but like the server said, everyone’s preference is different. There will be some dishes that you don’t like. I never felt pressured to finish everything that was served. It was like a small (and affordable) tasting menu! Drinks cost separate. I highly recommend the sangria! For only 3€ you get a liter. It was so delicious, but also on the sweet side. The server was so nice and spoke English, which was very helpful. There is a small restroom next to the register inside the restaurant. I was able to pay with Apple Pay. They have free WiFi!
Interesting tapas restaurant. We appreciated the variety of the food offer, the rapidity of the service and the quantity (you can order with no limits).
