A small restaurant with big flavors and the personal touches of the own... read more As Ladras was an incredible dining experience that should not be missed while in Lisbon! A small restaurant with big flavors and the personal touches of the owners that make it unforgettable. We made a reservation and tried several of the dishes that were on the daily menu (posted on the wall and each were unique and bursting with flavor. We started with the Couvert, Deep Fried Shrimp, and Sautéed Sweet Potato with Bacon and Feta. Then we shared the Fish Bao (AMAZING! , Sautee Codfish with Cornbread and Veal Strogonoff. Although our lovely server was worried we had order too much for our main course, after walking miles and miles all day, we shared the 3 dishes and didn't regret the choice. We also finished the night with their famous pumpkin cheesecake and I don't care what you do or don't order, but don't skip the cheesecake! The owner/chef spent time chatting with us and the atmosphere was the best of any restaurant I have visited in Lisbon! It may be tucked away from the crowded streets, but don't miss this one!
