The... read more I had the pleasure of having lunch at Courense recently and truly enjoyed my meal. Food tasted delicious, fresh, huge servings and good value for the money. The server was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this fine restaurant to anyone wanting to try traditional Portuguese food.

We chose soup of the day which was a tast... read more We ate in A Courense ten days ago and were delighted with the meal, service and the incredible price for such a feast. We chose soup of the day which was a tasty, hearty leek soup and then the dish of the day delicious cod with roast potatoes and green beans. We had two excellent desserts try the pudim flan equally excellent coffee and a bottle of good white wine. Not to mention the very good bread. All for 26 euros for two. Wonderful traditional Portuguese food served by very friendly, helpful staff. Wish I could eat there everyday.
