Food was awesome, was greeted as we entered..I will return
Save your money and go elsewhere! I had lunch there today with high hopes based on the others reviews. I was surprised at how bad the food was. I had meatloaf, creamed potatoes, greens, black eyed peas and cornbread $17). The meatloaf and cornbread were both good. The potatoes are instant and have some weird off putting taste, not typical of instant potatoes. The greens had no seasoning and were bland, there was no meat in them either. Worst potatoes and greens I have ever had in my life. The black eyed peas were either canned or frozen and also had no seasoning. When walking into the restaurant no one greets you and it’s just a “weird” atmosphere in there. Not very clean. Just Fyi: Originally from NC and I know soul food. I search out soul food restaurants in the South when traveling.
The food is good and always consistent on taste. This is our Sunday after church go-to restaurant almost every week.
