Contribute Feedback What Lucy Boyer likes about Irori Japanese Restaurant:
This restaurant is located off the main J.P. Laurel Highway in Lipa, but it's definitely worth the extra kilometer to find this cozy gem. During our visit, we were the only customers, making me think that this hidden spot is not frequented by many in the area. The service was fast, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a great dining experience. View all feedback.

The children were running wild and the noise was unbearable, we could hear them from the parking lot. I asked the waiter to speak to the parents about controlling their children, but he did not take any action. I informed the parents that we were leaving because of the noise and lack of control over their kids. Their reaction was dismissive, saying they're just kids and it's just noise. I enjoyed beans on toast when I got home and appreciated the savings compared to what would have been spent at the restaurant. I won't be returning to Iori, as they should show more respect to their customers.
I went to this restaurant with some colleagues during my first visit to Lipa. It is a fantastic restaurant that should not be overlooked if you are in the area. For American travelers, it is a Japanese steak house like Benihana, but more authentic. The highlights of our meal were the sirloin and the tempura. The service was excellent and I also enjoyed the clean industrial decor. The modern look and feel might not be what you expect from this type of restaurant, but it really works well.

So Lipa City is now full of surprises. It is no longer the small provincial town of the It has grown exponentially: crowded and noisy. That part I'm not happy about. But there is also a profusion of cultural cross pollination. One example: a...Japanese restaurant, serving authentic cuisine. I was very happy with my cold noodle salad and spicy ramen, but a little disappointed with grilled eel (unagi). But overall, the food was delicious and satisfying. Another star for this restaurant is the mid-century furnishings. It seems appropriate. Very understatedly stylish. I will definitely be back.
A highly recommended Japanese Restaurant in Lipa but also in the province of Batangas! Authentic dishes specially the Ramen and Teppanyaki Steaks.
