Staff was sweet and very friendly! They moved us inside when it was raining which was greatly appreciated! We loved the spinach and artichoke dip, it was divine and you could tell it was homemade! Ordered the special, trout with sweet potato fries. the trout was quite plain, a little bland, but the sweet potato fries were very tasty, well seasoned! View all feedback.
What თორნიკე ნაკაშიძე doesn't like about Lion's Head Inn & Restaurant:
The food was very good and the waitress who served us was fantastic. Unfortunately, the owner is quite crusty and that was our first impression of the restaurant along with the fenced Covid restrictions. Otherwise I would have placed it higher. View all feedback.

My family and I recently had lunch here, on the outside patio. We eat here every time we visit Lion’s Head. I wanted to note how much we appreciated that the staff were strict and ever consistently vigilant about their COVID rules, while being welcoming...and humorous about it all. Our server was quick and the food was good.
My husband and I had lunch here today. It is clearly a popular spot. The patio is lovely and the staff friendly. They were observing Covid protocols very strictly. We were eager to have fish. I should have ordered the pan seared fresh lake trout....But I didn’t. Because I love the perch in Port Dover, I was delighted to see a perch platter on the menu. What a disappointment it was. There was some fish discernible inside the flat heavily breaded fingers. I have had much better with a frozen fish product. I regret not sending it back to the kitchen. My husband ordered fish and chips. The fries were good, the fish too heavily battered. He, too, regretted his choice. We each had a bowl of the soup of the day, which was very good. Surrounding tables had nice looking Caesar salads and roast beef sandwiches. We clearly chose the wrong things from the menu. I highly recommend that you not order anything breaded or battered. A friend recently had dinner here and loved her fresh whitefish dinner. So, choose wisely.
Good food large quantities. Great selection of beer on tap. Fried fish good fries and potatoes. Will go again
We went on a Friday at around 5, we did not have a reservation but they were able to seat us in a reasonable time, they were very full, would recommend making a reservation. We heard a lot of the other patrons complaining about lack of parking but we were able to get a good spot. Service was great, food came quickly. I had the Georgian Bay Whitefish and it was excellent. My wife had a Yorkshire and Roast Beef dish and said it was great as well.
