The service is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! Today was the first time I have ate at Chester 's Chicken in Linn, MO and it will be the last time for me. I asked the lady at the counter what they had ready since I seen the workers still cooking. The lady replied very hatefully, We have chicken! I ordered five chicken tenders and five potato wedges, when I got home, I only got three of both. The city of Linn is a college town and a lot of the local restaurants give students a discount. NOT CHESTER 'S!! Very low quality chicken for a big price. I 'm very disappointed in the service. I would recommend Dave 's Pizza and Wings or The Shack. I wish I could give them zero stars.

The deli will make fresh salads or grill your choice to order. In addition to what’s prepared in the hot case. Great clean place and great crew!

I go here ALL the time and spend at least $50 each time. I’m sad to say I wont be back. The past dozen times I’ve been here I’ve held my tongue on writing a review. My family gets the chicken and jojos but I only ever get a cheeseburger and they used to be delicious. Everytime I’ve gone in within the past 3 months the burger has been cold, dry, hard, and just tasteless. The staff has no care whatsoever anymore and the kids who work their care more about talking than making sure the food they serve is fresh. I went today and mentioned to one of the workers quietly and very nicely that the last 4 times I had been in the burger was not hot or fresh and to please make sure that it was made fresh this time. It was made fresh, but it was undercooked and somehow the cheese and bun were nuked. I’m 3 months pregnant and was sick to my stomach before I even got home. I eat a strict carnivore diet and it’s just sad that everytime I decide to treat myself with Casper’s (because it used to be my favorite place to go) this happens to me. I end up disappointed and sick from the food. I really hope I don’t end up with food poisoning from this. I honesty will just stop going. I waited months hoping that maybe I was just catching bad days but it seems like the whole place has just gone downhill and doesn’t care anymore.

I stopped by on Easter Sunday evening to grab some chicken for my road trip. The dark-haired girl who served me acted as if I was bothering her. There was no smile, no greeting—just a rude attitude. I left without the chicken and decided to go to the gas station across the street instead.

We chose not to make a scene and quietly declined to order, stating that we were traveling to Jefferson City and it wouldn't be a good idea to leave chicken sitting in our vehicle. The whole situation was quite off-putting. As a former Sous Chef, I understand Safe Serve procedures and believe management needs to be made aware of this issue and address it immediately.
