Star Monica Hotel, Resort and Restaurant

Me me my family love this place. Awesome ameneties and friendly staff. The pool uses salt water and very theraputic. Prices are affordable and worth it! Staff are very friendly and helpful. They do have a bar and the band (sixth sense band) Rocks!

The said hotel is new. There are some things not present when we stayed there for 2 days. Also, they don't have service crew at night. You have to wait for 7am to be able to be properly assist. Of course every one of us is expecting to have this in our room upon arrival. Unfortunately there is no mini ref. No complimentary kits. No towels that greeted us. I am a "maselan" person. So the 1st thing that I checked when I came in our room is the bathroom. I'll give them ☆☆ out of 5. Y? You'll know when it is cleaned or not. For the room,☆☆☆out of 5. The management and staff ☆☆out of 10. Some staffs' are not that accomodating (1 of them I encou tered has his own world ). Over-all, i'll give them ☆☆☆. I hope that the next time I will stay there, will be different.

When in Lingayen, a great choice to stay is at the Star Monica Hotel, Resorts and Restaurant in Baay, National Highway, Brgy. Quibaol Lingayen, Pangasinan. We stayed at their Nipa Hut Family Room good for 6 pax for P3,500. Amenities include a common CR, air-condition, cable TV, hot/cold shower & intercom. The most affordable room is their Deluxe Room, P1,500 for 2 pax and at their Dormitory priced at P600 per pax. You can try many activities at this resort like biking, basketball, trampoline, volleyball & more. They will soon unveils their big pool slide which is still under construction when we visited.

The service was ok, staff are trying their best to compensate for the shortcomings of the management. But the place is totally disorganized. Dirty water, yellowish that you would not even wish to take a bath. Food , just ok, nothing special.

Well as my title would suggest this property has great potential and even there was a new wing being built when we were there. The location suited us and the pool was nice but a bit dirty. The hotel is less than basic and I wrote a full page of improvements and personally gave it to the hotel manager which was a young girl the daughter of the owner. I really hope that she has taken aboard all that I told her as the place has HUGE POTENTIAL but unfortunately lacking in experience of what is acceptable in this modern era. Shortage of towels etc and general comforts one expects of staying at hotels. Price is not low enough for the quality of the stay. They base everything on their facilities which to my mind is not enough. I had guests visit and they tried to charge me for the use of the pool for them even though I was a resident. Anyway there is a lot of improvements required for this hotel.
