The food was excellent, and I really enjoyed the beautiful decor of the rooms. The service was outstanding as well. Wishing you all the best!
Located in an old family house with all of the charm it once held for it 's residents on display for guests, Gustaf 's is a cute little coffee shop+ along the main drag of Lindstrom. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, and the food/drinks quality in sourcing and preparation. The parking lot is out back, and the rear door was locked, which would have been hard on the elderly members of our party, but the staff were friendly and let us use the rear door.
Immaculately clean! Great food! We were able to pin down the owner on our most recent visit and hear her story. Amazing and inspiring to learn about how she overcame so many obstacles to make it happen.
Stopped for Sunday lunch and we liked the general atmosphere and decor as well as the tasty food! I had a melt on wild rice cranberry bread with a bowl of chicken wild rice soup (impressively huge bowl! and I can't remember what the others ate but it was all good. We even brought home a slice of the homemade apple pie. Yummy and we'll be back.
I tried several sandwiches at this restaurant, and they were all fantastic. We also ordered lunch for a small team, and everyone truly enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend the Gustaf Melt, which features turkey, speckkäse, and tomatoes on their signature bread. It's best enjoyed hot, so remember that if you're getting it to go.
