This is one of my favorite spots in Utah County! The service is consistently excellent, but what really draws me in is the food. They offer a unique and authentically fresh take on Mexican cuisine that prioritizes health. You won’t find rice and beans or fried chips and salsa here—just wholesome Mexican dishes! Among their protein options, the hanger steak truly stands out as the best. Don’t miss the Queso Fundido; it’s a must-try appetizer to share. I also love the variety of combinations available. Be sure to stop by the kitchen to say hello to the father-son team of chefs who create all this culinary magic!

The food is like nothing I have ever had with subtle flavors balanced with just the right amount of spice. My favorite order here is the tacos, but don't try them first it will be difficult to order anything else once you have tried them and the rest of the menu needs to be explored.

I know why now, my Second time was the most awkward experience from our waitress, Asking about descriptions of menu items wasn't in her training or something? Because she was so incredibly vague about dishes. (The menu doesn't have any) m Her tone was as if she didn't want to be there too, it made the dining experience uncomfortable. Once our food arrived, we had to ask for utensils twice, because I had a fork and a knife and my bf only had a fork. What confused me the most, For some reason she only refilled my bf water and not mine?! It's water, I know, but my food was spicy and I would have asked, but I don't like to talk with food in my mouth. I work in the food industry, I get it. It was just odd and she seemed miserable, so that took away from the incredible food experience. I hate to say it, but I no longer want to dine in. Best of luck to Oteo, I just wish server training matched the incredible food.

During our last visit, we tried their new dish—the filet mignon served on mashed potatoes—and it completely blew us away! We even recommended it to our parents, who celebrated their anniversary there tonight. The staff treated them wonderfully! It warms my heart to see good, genuine, kind people thriving in their businesses. We will recommend Oteo to everyone we know! We are loyal customers! For those with dietary restrictions, it's Celiac-friendly—almost everything is gluten-free and delicious!

We ordered churros and they were unfortunately out of it tonight but they gave us a free dessert which was way more than they had to do!! 10/10 would recommend and I am bringing more people back in the future (dying to try those churros! Haha! Definitely wouldn't go wrong trying this place!
