I had the house special, double baked pumpkin spinat ricotta souffle with roast tomato sauce, parmesan and gluten-free brot. it is worth visiting only for this alone! it's crazy! the service here is always good, very friendly with smiles. it has a very pleasant look at the LINDFIELD village green. parking is also good, with a new garage. What User doesn't like about The Runaway Spoon:
wow, I know it was hard, I know that the cost is rising, but $15 for what was a bog standard speck and egg roll takes the p*s. the coffee was really good, but all up to 20 dollars is ridiculous. I'm sorry, young, but with my feet. View all feedback.
Great coffee at this local café! We tried the corn fritter, which is similar to a pancake, topped with salmon, and also had the mushroom Benedict. It’s a nice spot for a casual brunch that’s available nearly all day.
Fantastic place for a Sunday breakfast! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered pancakes, a baked omelette, garlic bread, and muffins. It does get quite busy, but it's definitely worth it. I will definitely come back!
The menu offers a wide variety of options, many of which sound appealing, and I’m eager to return to sample more dishes. I ordered the Moroccan Eggs, which featured wonderfully flavorful pulled pork—definitely the highlight of the dish. However, the eggs, hollandaise sauce, and English muffins felt rather ordinary in comparison. The presentation could also use some improvement, although the eggs were poached perfectly. The staff were friendly and pleasant, adding to the overall positive experience.
I had the smoked salmon avocado wonton salad, it was very tasty. And a flat white, which was average. The staff could of been a little more friendly.
