One of the most popular spots around. The food is fresh and made from scratch, and the margaritas are fantastic. My sister always orders the fajitas, while I usually opt for a shrimp dish or something similar. View all feedback.
What O doesn't like about La Esperanza:
Some hits or miss, most plates ordered were good. The Salvadorean steak was a miss. Too much oíl on it. This is regular questin that I always ask and does not affect ranking...do you do a Mil discount. Short answer is no. View all feedback.
The place is very okay. I wasn 't over or underwhelmed.... Just whelmed . Kinda forgettable I suppose
Service was really great, the restaurant and bathrooms were really clean...you could literally smell bleach in bathroom so you know they take care of their restaurant. The food was mediocre...I think I expected more. I had enchiladas and my friend had tacos...just ok. Maybe something else will be good...I'd definitely try it again bc of the service and atmosphere...will update after my next visit.
Spent $70 on take out for no reason. It was mostly iceberg lettuce which I paid more for. I could have gotten that from Walmart. When I called they had to tell me where the tacos were (buried under the high priced lettuce) and they didn’t care about my concerns. Never again! Next time going to El Mariachi San Lucas. Pancheros would have been better.
This place always blows my mind. I had a burrito the first time I went and it was great! I went again a week or so later and had the Mole Poblano without ever having mole anywhere else and it quickly became my favorite mexican dish. I have tried it in other places since and nowhere had come close to how delicious it is here. Highest praise to this place and I can’t wait to go back :
I lost hope for Mexican food in south jersey until i tried this place. Food was amazing,Portions are big and friendly staff, fairly affordable and quick service
