Although... read more This was my first visit to Posados Cafe. The chips and salsa were outstanding—freshly made chips that were thin and crispy, paired with homemade salsa. Although the food took some time to arrive, every dish we ordered from the menu was delicious. The service was attentive, and our drinks were consistently refilled throughout the meal. My only downside was the slow pace of the kitchen and having to get my own voice.

I ordered the El Pastor Street Tacos, but they included pineapple, which, with its sweetness, took away from the overall flavor. This was unusual to me, as I haven’t seen pineapple served this way in other Mexican restaurants. Despite that, I would still recommend Posados Cafe and plan to return to try something different.

The Posados in Mesquite can't hold a candle to this location when it comes to food. The tamales are perfect every single time. The service was excellent, and our server was extremely helpful. I hardly ever visit the Mesquite location anymore because this one is just so much better. If you're looking for great tamales, this is the place to go! They offer a variety of sauces, and I topped mine with sour cream sauce.
