Valentino's - Lincoln

The manager who was on duty tonight (July 27th) at the 33rd Street location was incredible! The customer service was excellent, and they were such a wonderful person. Thank you for making our family night special!

Who would have thought that Valentino's would surprise me? It's fantastic! I've discovered my new favorite spot for both burgers and Italian cuisine.

I ordered a few meatball sandwiches from Valentino's tonight, and I was really disappointed. The meatballs were sliced super thin, and each sandwich had maybe one and a half meatballs in total. They were drenched in soda and barely had any melted cheese on top. These are definitely not the meatballs I used to know and love. As a former employee of Val's, I always believed they had high standards when it came to quality, cleanliness, and customer service. This was not up to the standard you would expect from Lincoln's best pizza place. At least they returned to the good meatballs that were changed during the COVID pandemic, but they really need to include those hearty halves of meatballs along with the broth and cheese. It was a huge mistake; we ended up throwing away half the broth because there just weren’t enough meatballs to fill the sandwiches. Next time, I think I’ll go to the Firehouse, where they really pile on the meatballs!

Unfortunately, I can never post a picture of a whole valentinos pizza, because the second is it in my hands, the half of it disappears mysteriously into my mouth. valentino’s is a local gem in nebraska. I have so many beautiful memories of this pizza place. the sauce is sweet and savory, the crust has exactly the right amount of crispy. that is so good. everything about this pizza is right.

The food was good, as expected. I was disappointed to see how much food they just throw away though.
