What Robert Holland likes about Engine House Cafe:
Eggs Benedict were life changing and quite possibly life shortening too. But if you have to go, that is a great plate of food to have as a last meal. Seriously, high quality, generous portions, and good atmosphere and scratch made. We were there for breakfast so that is all I can comment on at this point. But I bet everything is good there. Worst service I've had in any restaurant in town. The lady completely ignored me the entire time and made me waste half an hour there for no reason. This place is trash. View all feedback.

read moreThe Engine House in Havelock is a hidden gem tucked away in a quaint old fire station in a charming downtown area. The restaurant is steeped in firefighter history and offers an exceptional dining experience. From the best biscuits ever to delicious breakfast burritos and chicken fried steak, the food is top-notch. The service is friendly and efficient, despite the staff being busy. The atmosphere is superb, with an abundance of memorabilia to admire. While some customers noted issues with flies, most agree that this is a must-visit spot, especially for breakfast lovers. The menu offers a variety of options, including multiple versions of Eggs Benedict. The coffee is exceptional, and the overall experience at The Engine House is highly recommended by many satisfied diners.
