If you are looking for amazing food, this is the place. Great servings great atmosphere. We had a ribeye with homemade frits Mar y Tierra (filet with shrimps. Both were cooked very well, but we preferred the fillet. And don't forget, Dessert the cream brûlée was delicious. I wish we had found this place earlier. Prices are higher than typical foods, but you get what you pay. View all feedback.
What Ethan Delvaux doesn't like about Barakka Bistro Cahuita:
I learned that the name has stayed the same, but the chefs/renters of the place come and go. So the reviews you see here may not be for the same chef. Our food was expensive and most was not very tasty, unfortunately. Waitress was very friendly, as was the chef. View all feedback.

This is the best restaurant in Cahuita. You will get a variety of delicious meals such as steaks and/or pasta. The fries are just perfect! I also loved the different wines they have. If you are not sure what wine to choose, then ask people to work there and they give you a good tip. Every evening they have something special. Tonight they offered a fish burger who was super tasty! I can absolutely recommend this fantastic restaurant. Especially if you're looking for something other than Tico Food.
Great meal at Barakka fine French cooking by an expat. The bavette steak was a highlight, as was the cheeseboard! And our host couldn’t have been more genial and welcoming. Highly recommend.

After spending 4 weeks in Costa Rica, we had really believed to have some well-known European food. And this place gave us one of the better food experiences we had in a long time! The Zartoin was tender and juicy, the salad refreshing, and the Gorgonzola sauce was delicious. The owners were really nice and welcoming, overall a great experience that I can recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner in Cahuita.
