We had our wedding reception at the strand and the service and entire process was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the strand team left no stone unturned. Keeley the renowned wedding coordinator is an absolute gem to work with and is just amazing at her job. She guided us through the process with such confidence and made it so smooth and easy on us. She passed on her knowledge and recommendations and feedback in relation to so many parts of the planning process and made our day amazing. She made all of our vision come through. Working with keeley was an absolute dream. She made planning a wedding from Australia a lot easier!! Thanks so much keeley for all of the support and constant emails throughout the entire planning process. We had a wonderful night of our food tasting with Stephen our waiter and got to discuss the finer details with head chef Alan after the meal. The team made our reception room look amazing and the personalised menus were a hit! (The guests couldn’t believe how our wedding photo was on the menus already! . Lovely touch! The entire two nights of the wedding were amazing. Darren and the team the night of the wedding were outstanding. Our guests were blown away by the service at dinner with the white gloves and she sheer professionalism of the entire staff. Darren could not do enough for us and made us feel at ease the entire evening. Nothing was a problem and everything was at our own pace. Having that support took a lot of stress off us and the night ran so smooth and wonderful. All of our guests complimented the food on the night and the service. I am so glad the strand team could be part of our special day and we couldn’t have asked for anything better than what we experienced. What an amazing venue and staff. Thank you to all the strand staff for your amazing work!!!

And the leisure centre was so nice with family changing rooms, a sauna, stream room, big jacuzzi and a pool with a kiddies pool at the side.

From the moment I arrive, all of my needs are met with professionalism and genuine care. Whether it is providing extra towels, accommodating room service requests, or assisting with small items for my room, the staff always go above and beyond. Their attention to detail and willingness to help make every stay comfortable and enjoyable. I am especially impressed by the personal touches, including staff members remembering my last name, which truly makes me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Because of the outstanding service and warm hospitality, I would not choose to stay anywhere else in Limerick, Ireland. Thank you all for consistently making my stays so pleasant and memorable. I... read more I’ve stayed at the Strand hotel as part of a multi year company project taking place in Limerick and all I can share is that Strand has become my second home. I’m greeted warmly by all the staff, Antoni on reception is always a pleasure to deal with and knows me by name. The bacon served at breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. Beds and room are always comfortable and well serviced. Pleased to see the introduction of a “save the planet and skip the room clean to get €5 off in the restaurant/ bar” scheme. Dedicated hotel car parking underground is safe and secure. Night team on reception when arriving late or early check out are brilliant and handle everything with a smile even told me about the option to request a take away breakfast in a box to take on my flight home! I look forward to seeing you all again soon
