Shake Dog - Limerick
Shake Dog
Description
Shake Dog in Limerick has had a mixed bag of reviews lately. While some praise the delicious food and friendly service, others point out major issues such as lack of COVID-19 guidelines being followed by staff and the need for a revamp in terms of decor and attitude. Despite the rebranding effort and small improvements, the food quality remains inconsistent. However, for those looking for a tasty meal at a good value, Shake Dog might be worth a try. Just be prepared for potential shortcomings in service and ambiance.

Food is tasty and not expensive. Good service from waiters. Very clean and tidy.
I love food from Shake Dog, the shakes are so good, the burgers are tasty and all chicken wings combinations are fantastic!. Costumer service on the other hand depends on the person and the day.
Food was fine, hot, tasty, fresh. When you are asked to wait until you are seated...a Hello would be good... but the guy seemed busy and pointed to the table, dropped the menu and got back to his JUST EAT orders. The inside wasn 't busy .. but takeaway was flying. Good for them! But when a client is actually there... wouldn 't it be good if we took priority? After all, they were not sacrificing a of my bill to Just Eat. The burger was excellent... combo fries ok.. and coke was fizzy.. not always a guarantee these days. Toilets were clean but hot taps had no hot water, hand dryer didn 't work so .. after food you eat with your hands.. my hands were difficult to clean. Paper towels were provided but the dispenser was broken. Come in lads.. if that 's what a client can see.. what 's it like behind the scenes! The FOH guy was very friendly when not bombarded with phone calls and takeaway orders... he deserves a medal.. Managers... get your act together. An American diner has staff serving tables... you 'd stand out from the deluge of chicken shacks etc on O Connell street I 'd have ordered coffee... dessert... and upped my spend.. but the phone orders were far more demanding than an actual client at an actual table and your guy isn 't an octopus. Yes, I 'd go again as the food was good... but get your bathrooms sorted and prioritise your walk ins over phone ins.
Shake Dog is consistently a fantastic choice for diners of all ages. The food, service, and value never disappoint.
After rebranding from Eddie Rockets, Shake Dog has made some positive updates, including adding small tables for solo diners or couples and adopting a stylish color scheme. However, the food quality remains unchanged. The staff were prompt and friendly, but I was let down by the small burger and chips portion considering the price. Additionally, the burger patty was crumbly, making it hard to enjoy. On the bright side, the biscoff shake was both generous in size and delicious.
