While o... read more My husband and I spent one night at the Savoy as a mini honeymoon after our wedding, having informed the hotel ahead of time about the special occasion. While our stay was enjoyable, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations of a 5-star experience. We stayed in a spacious suite on the 5th floor, but there were some issues. The table was held together with tape, the wall mirror was cracked, the mini fridge didn’t cool properly, and the TV stopped working after we turned it off at night. Although these might seem like small problems, they took away from the sense of luxury we had hoped for. Our suite was connected to another room, and we could clearly hear our neighbors’ conversation, which was disappointing. Considering the high price we paid, these aspects affected our overall experience. On the positive side, breakfast was included, and the staff was very accommodating to my food allergies, which we appreciated. Overall, our stay was pleasant but didn’t quite match the 5-star quality we expected, even with the upgrade.

Caleb, who helped us during check-in, was exceptionally warm and attentive, making our visit to the city truly memorable. He went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. A truly five-star experience!

We adored our suite, which was stun... read more The Savoy is a true gem in Ireland. This luxury hotel features a friendly and professional staff that goes above and beyond. We adored our suite, which was stunning and included a spacious, inviting seating area. Many rooms offer views of the Shannon River. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the Executive Lounge with its lovely patio was a fantastic perk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

I went down to the ground floor bar to ask a question, and for olives! I was met with professionalism and above and beyond service.

Location... read more Recently stayed at the Savoy Limerick, check in was smooth and efficient. Rooms are well equipped and clean but a bit dark due to city centre location. Location is perfect for walking around. We selected breakfast to be included floor service (no buffet) which is lovely and the dinning staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast it's self was fine , the fresh orange juice and granola pot were great however the bacon omelette was definitely not pan made it was colourless and way to thick so tasted a bit rubbery. The full breakfast, the sausage was under cooked and similarly the scrambled egg was again rubbery. The above being said we did enjoy the hotel.
