The freshness and flavors were great. We shared the ceviche matador and loved it. There are so many options! Each looked interesting. It's not cheap. Our dish was sol, but high quality. Server got our drink order wrong but we didn't know so instead of a sol glass we got a sol glass. She then argued with me It's weird to see bad reviews with no comments. Our local host recommended this place and we had a very tasty local meal drinks. Staff was friendly, service was fast. Really enjoyed it!
On our last day in Lima, we asked our host, Marcos (owner of Taytaypa in Callao) where we could have lunch. He kindly took us to Miskychallwa, which was about 5 mins taxi ride. The restaurant has two main seating areas, with air-con or outdoors away from street. We chose to sit outdoors and it was comfortable. Service was friendly but limited in English. Menu offers various Peruvian dishes written in Spanish with pictures. We ordered Choritos a la Chalaca as a shared appetizer. There were 8 portions and each was served in a spoon and we supposed to eat food in a spoon all together. The taste reminded me of Thai salad but it was also different ... it was delicious. My husband ordered a grilled trout which came with salad. I ordered Parihuela miskychallwa which is mixed seafood soup with fish, octopus, clams, crabs, and topped with sea weed ... it was delicious. I would love to know the recipe. The restaurant is closed to the Lima Airport. The ambience is casual. We really enjoyed the food! Travel note: I wish we could have spent a few days more in Lima to experience the food there.

El servicio es muy bueno, los platos servidos tambien pero si te gusta los platos bien servidos tendrás que repetir por lo menos 2 platos más
