They had 20 soles lunch special, which was the cheapest I saw in Lima, so I went in. There were just couple of people inside and a charming, flamboyant looking guy asked me in perfect English how he could help. It turned out it was Marcelo: the owner of the bar. The place is very intimate and nicely decorated with the bar as a main feature. He told me that it's the best singles bar in town and comes to life at night. Shame I had to catch a bus at 7pm. He hooked me up with the internet and even ordered a safe taxi. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable, the food was tasty and value for money. He even offered me cigars :) Will definitely go back.
