Vivat Factory - Lille

We just had some drinks here on the terrace just in front of the Notre Dame. The wines of the house were really good and not too expensive. Service was quick and friendly. It is a very nice terrace to enjoy the sun and all the skaters!

Stopped for lunch at this chique restaurant for lunch. We were able to sit outside in the sun without any problem. Polite staff served us promptly, and the good was reasonably priced. Only downside being a lack of choice on the menu, especially for lunch.

I'd usually choose a location with a bit more charm, however the location is good with a nice outdoor terrace so we went for it. Overall it was an okay experience, but with so many options in Lille, there are better places to go.I'm usually very lenient when it comes to service. My friend, however, mentioned a few times that he was not impressed with the service. The server didn't really interact with us very much until she took our payment at the end, which required her to stay at the table for a few minutes! Other than that, they didn't seem to care too much about us being there.Our dinner, however, was really quite great. We both chose the cannelloni and it was oven-baked quite nicely and was paired well with the bread we were given. They had a fair mix of wine & beer from moderately priced to the more expensive.Overall an okay dinner, but once was enough. And though I didn't experience it, I hear they have a fantastic brunch.

Trendy bar next to Notre Dam, big nicely decorated place which is probably best in summer set in a square by the cathedral. Service exceptionally slow and slightly aloof. Beer of choice Vedett which is ok and very fashionable in the UK but to be honest there are better bars in the area.

Coffee on the square of the cathedral of the lilac in the pretty old quarter. Good beers on the menu, food looks good too.
