So it's only natural that I thought of booking into this place for my girlfriend's birthday recently. A few weeks before the date, I made the reservation online, indicating that I wanted a place upstairs to enjoy the darts games. I received an email reply, asking to pay a deposit to secure the reservation. One week before the date, we go there to give the requested amount and confirm the location with the server who agrees. The big day arrives, I show up first to let people know that the guests are arriving and what a surprise... I am told that I need to make room upstairs because a group of 50 people is there. I wait then... The boss then comes to tell me that unfortunately, he will not be able to place us where we want and he offers to park us on the tables at the entrance (already occupied, so he was considering moving the people seated) with only one dart board and right next to the toilets. Suffice to say that, given the passage, we would never have been able to throw the slightest dart at the target without being interrupted. I therefore express my dissatisfaction, because none of this was agreed. The manager, Olivier, without the slightest excuse begins to take on a haughty air indicating that he cannot push the walls. I'm in business, I understand that 50 people versus 10 means more money coming in. On the other hand, what I cannot imagine is that if we know how to send an email to ask for money, we also know how to send an email to warn that the desired place will not be available and not wait until we arrives to present us with a fait accompli. I do not find this correct and even less that no excuse for this inconvenience is mentioned, on the contrary, I am accused of not having given a deposit... and I am informed that to reserve the top, it is you have to pay 2000 euros and have at least 40 people. Which is totally false, because the friend I mentioned at the beginning, reserved a few months earlier, part of the floor for -300 euros and for not even 20 people. This is not the first time I have heard that this manager is easy to scam and devious. I am now a witness and victim; and I actually want to share to warn people who want to go to this place. I'm not in the habit of giving bad publicity but when we don't even take the trouble to apologize, warn or act with sympathy, it makes me want to enlighten people that it does exist. best bar Like the one right next door
