Whether it's their pastries or even their chocolates, their products are still high-quality, but often overpriced. And what about the service and the friendly atmosphere, which have declined significantly over the years, whether in the shop, the tea room, or the restaurant? So I've decided to stop going there altogether. Other shops in Lille offer a much better experience and a far more welcoming atmosphere.

I still can’t forget the taste of their famous waffles, delicate and lightly crisp on the outside, yet soft and buttery in the centre, with a rich vanilla filling that melts beautifully with every bite. They somehow feel both elegant and comforting at the same time. I loved them so much that I even ordered delivery while living in London. That alone probably says everything.

We wished we... read more We had classic meert waffels one with vanilla and the other was pistachio and both of them were incredibly delicious. Especially the vanilla one.. We wished we have enough time to sit in the backyard and enjoy our time but we didn’t have. Anyways, they have a very high quality products and not exaggerated prices. Nice experience.
