We had wanted a tagine, but were told that tagines were Moroccan an... read more We had a lovely meal at this Tunisian restaurant, which was on the same street as our hotel. We had wanted a tagine, but were told that tagines were Moroccan and, since this was a Tunisian restaurant, we should have couscous, so we did. Our meals--lamb for my husband, merguez for me--were wonderful.

In... read more We were staying in L'Hermitage down the road and had sampled quite a few restaurants in Lille before going here -- even though it is very close to the hotel. In the end, this ended up being the best meal we had, and also the cheapest. The tagines we had were really first-class, and the service and wine were excellent too. This was a real find, and our only disappointment was that there were not more people in the place (which is why I was motivated to write this review). In Australia, this place would be packed out.
