During my time working on a cruise ship, I regularly stopped at JJJ's for meals. The food and drinks were top-notch. Little did I know, Kauai is known for its wild chickens running around the island. One day, while enjoying my chicken fingers at JJ's, a chicken seemed to recognize its relative in my meal and started causing a commotion. The host had a humorous way of dealing with the situation, even jokingly brandishing a gun at the chickens. The staff was friendly and overall it was a great dining experience.
After a helicopter tour sitting here for lunch, just because my wife and I felt kind of bad and had to eat a bit fast. Saw an Ocean Front Bar/Grill...
A great view and extremely overpriced food. The burger and fries were good but lacked that extra something that you would expect for that price. It was a patty with a slice of American cheese on it.
