Very classic and a bit of far-reaching glory. €11 for a bottle of water...is just ridiculous. The matched wines were very overpriced. The house aperitif...well folks...for such a place...that's just worthless (or at least not according to the bill). I am currently in Verona and had dinner at Dante's there. Also a star. And there is quite a difference. But...again...the food and service were good.

In the spring of 2025 they will move back to the renovated b... read more The entire De Pastorie team has temporarily moved into the buildings of De Watermolen in Kasterlee. In the spring of 2025 they will move back to the renovated building in Lichtaart. We took a 4-course menu and were surprised by the chef. The dishes were all worthy of a star. I had never eaten their version of eel in green before. The service was also great and the selection of appropriate wines topped it off. The restaurant itself may be a bit outdated, so we are certainly curious to come back to the renovated restaurant in Lichtaart. Rooms: The rooms belong to De Watermolen and are not part of the restaurant De Pastorie. We did take advantage of it to stay overnight.
