The gentleman who greeted us was friendly and quickly got our drinks sorted. However, we had to wait for our table and there was some confusion with our drinks. This led to a bit of drink swapping, which was more humorous than anything. The starter (pate) was bland and the toast seemed to be pre-packaged. The lamb shank main dish was overcooked and very dry. Our children's pudding (ice cream) was larger than my creme brulee, which made me question the portion sizes. The taste was decent, but there was too much syrup, making it more like a budget creme caramel. The biggest issue was the service, as the waiter was rude and seemed disinterested. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The staff and food were excellent, and they were kind and thoughtful. The manager made my birthday meal a memorable one. The restaurant is clean and the food is fresh and tasty. The prices are very reasonable, and they also offer good prices on wine and beer. It's refreshing not to be ripped off in this day and age. I had dinner there tonight, and I must say, the service is among the best I've encountered—courteous, informative, and welcoming! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! This place is perfect for a leisurely Sunday lunch or a fine dining experience on a Friday.
