Outstanding food and atmosphere, however our server was lacking in her serving skills. I waited for 25 minutes to get a glass of unsweet ice tea, we were seated for 40 minutes before we received our bread basket and she reached across my plate on two occassion to remove unused silverware. What Rahel Wolf doesn't like about Salerno's Pizzeria:
We were the only table eating in the place. My son just graduated from the Navy and wanted great Italian food since we are Italian. I read that Saliors got a free meal up to $17 and we were charged full price. Food was bland. The chicken was swimming in a pool of watery broth with no flavor. Stopped here for lunch with a few buddies on a Sunday & sat at the outside bar area.
I've had Salerno's Pizza at other locations since I was a kid, one of the best. I did not order any food just a beer on a Sunday afternoon.
My experience while dining out was okay, but I have a note for those that have celiac or who have to be gluten free: do not eat the gluten free pizza.
Our fourth time dining at Scarlet Steak and Seafood, very nice fine dining with a very good selection.
24 ounce prime rib was seasoned perfectly and cooked to a perfect medium rare. I'll definitely go back.
