My family and I visit this restaurant about every two weeks to satisfy our taco cravings. My favorites are the shrimp tacos, which aren’t listed on the menu, but trust me, they’re a must-try! I usually choose between the salad with chicken, the specials (which are incredibly fresh), or the pastor or chicken tacos. The kids absolutely love the kid-sized chicken quesadillas. As for the entrees, they were quite disappointing. The pork schnitzel was barely 1/8 of an inch thick and so overcooked that it resembled jerky. The lobster mac and cheese contained only a few tiny pieces of lobster, and the cheese was so watered down that it created a pool of liquid at the bottom. After recommendations from family and staff, my wife and I went to this Libertyville restaurant. The drinks were phenomenal! We had the queso fundido and were amazed at the taste. We had their green mules and two tacos (bef and pig). Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients and served quickly. The taste and the atmosphere are worthwhile for the price.
A.Mazing! I could eat at Milwalky Taco everyday. I may just try. From the first step into the space, with the delightful aroma of hickory greeting us like an old friend, to the leather infused tequila, and the whimsy of the Walking Taco , the Hubs and I loved every bite. Delicious food, incredible cocktails, and wonderful staff....multiple gold stars awarded!
Everything was excellent from service to the food highly recommend checking out. Al Pastor, carne asada, pescado, fresh chips/guacamole and churro was very good !!!!
Loved it! We started with chips, salsa and guacamole. Then moved onto tacos (chicken and steak) and they were delicious! Everything was great but the one thing I had that I keep thinking about is the tequila Old Fashioned. Oh my gosh. So good! It's like drinking velvet.
Great food, friendly service, nice drink selection and fun atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had a nice assortment of tacos (pork, beef, tongue and chicken), all packed with great flavors. I love the personal size so you have the opportunity to try a variety of flavors.
