What Hal Miller doesn't like about Fuji Sushi Grill:
that was an incredibly disappointing experience. the service here is worth zero stars. I only give two because it wasn't bad to eat. not the best sushi I've ever had, but good. it took over an hour to get our food, and our server has only checked us 3 times, including when it broke out our food. when she finally did, she said?sorry, we had a lot to go ordering?. Service was terrible! we arrived at 5:45, they took us to get our order, and we had to wait until another family settled down and ordered before the chef came at 6:45, which was an hour later! He ignored us and made talks with the other family. He jumped completely to ask me how to eat mine. I commanded steak and garnel, and he gave me half a steak and 6 garnel while he garnel and steak on the other family. He kept saying that he was about us to be asian and how the other family was white and that's just ridiculous, constantly commenting on how we are asian and when I'm asian? the image I posted is exactly what he gave me, that was right when he finished on the other family plates piling food. 30 dollar for this plate of half steak and 6 garnel, lukewarm(best) wobble and a small salat. they did not fill any drinks, and my son ordered steamed rice and they accused us $3,50 for fried rice. I wouldn't give this restaurant stars if I could. spent $121.00 for 3 people for hustle, racist service and mediocre eating. these are only 3 hibachi entrees, no appetizers or desserts.
When they say no frills, they aren 't kidding. The sushi was pretty tasty (we had the zombie roll) although not presented in any spectacular way, and the hibachi show was pretty ho-hum. The guy was nice and did a great job cooking, but didn 't talk much or do the usual tricks and all that you might have seen at other hibachi grills. He did toss food for each guest to try and catch in their mouth at the end, which was fun. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. The server was not exactly friendly and seemed like she was ready for us to leave as soon as we got there, and wasn 't very attentive. In general though, this wasn 't a bad experience. Next time I want hibachi I 'll probably go somewhere else, but I will go back for the sushi which had great flavor and the yellowtail on our roll was excellent quality.
Stopped after Black Friday shopping and we Loved it!! Our waitress was the only one there, but did a good job keeping up. The cook was Fabulous, and made the meal so fun enjoyable! Food was great too!

She never asked how our dinner was, and when she came out our review, she said nothing when she took it, she said nothing, and when she returned it, she just said? that's it, we won't be back. I don't have to wait an hour on a sticky table for mediocre food, without any indication that the facility will take care of at all.
First time at Fuji for a company team lunch. Excellent food and service. Our Hibachi cook, Brian, was very entertaining and knowledgeable. They make their own amazing ginger sauce that can be bought to take home. Very recommended!
